Gov. Janet Mills today (Aug. 20) announced that $200 million in federal stimulus funds will be used to provide grants to small businesses and nonprofits.
The funds will be used by those affected by the recession because of the pandemic.
While we know these grants cannot wholly replace or repair the economic damage this pandemic has caused, our mission is to ensure that each dollar has at least a small, direct impact on supporting these businesses and Maine’s economy. 2/
