Here are some of the scheduled Memorial Day Parades and Ceremonies scheduled throughout central Maine. Events and times are subjected to change.

Augusta
May 25-27: The GoldStars Tribute Wall is on display at the Augusta Elks Lodge #964, Civic Center Drive. It is free and open to the public. There will be an opening ceremony on May 25, beginning at 10:00AM, including the National Anthem, sung by Rebecca Pushard, the Department of Corrections Color Guard, and remarks from Lorna Harris, President of American Gold Star Mothers Maine and a proud Gold Star Mother.
May 27, The Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery Association hosts a ceremony at 10 AM at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery on Civic Center Drive.

Bath
May 27: The American Legion Post #21 hosts a parade at 10:00AM at 200 Congress Ave. and ending at Library Park followed by the wreath laying service at 11:00AM.

Belfast
May 27: 9:00AM Service at the POW-MIA Monument at Bridge, 9:20AM Service at the Legion, 9:45AM Service at the VFW, 10:00AM Service at the Grove Cemetery
Parade will line up at 10:30AM in the Reny’s Plaza. It begins at 11:00AM and continues down Main Street to the Waterfront for a final ceremony.

Brunswick/Topsham
May 27: Parade begins with an observance at Monument Place 8:45Am. The parade will then travel down Main Street and cross the Frank J. Wood Bridge, where a wreath will be laid. It will continue into downtown Brunswick and conclude at Veteran’s Memorial Square

Fairfield
May 27: Parade, Cemetery Services, Luncheon, 11:00AM-2:00PM, Fairfield Veterans Memorial Park, 62 High Street

Gardiner
May 27: Parade will start at 10:00AM from the parking lot at the old Armory off of Brunswick Avenue to the Gardiner Common, where a Memorial Day Ceremony will occur.

Jay/Livermore Falls
May 27: Parade starts at 10:00AM at MEMCO parking lot on Main Street in Jay. Color guard and firing squad will march and present honors at the Jay War Memorial Square, Richardson Cemetery and Union Park.

Lewiston
May 25: 10:00AM, Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park

Lisbon
May 27: Parade begins at 9 :00AM at Lisbon High School and at ends the MTM Center and will be followed immediately by a ceremony.

Mt Vernon
May 27: Parade and Ceremony, 11:30 AM at Flying Pond Variety, 165 Pond Rd.

Oakland
May 27: Ceremonies at Lakeview Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. before the Parade, and at Memorial Hall during the Parade, which begins a 12N, traveling down Pleasant street, onto Main Street and then continuing to Memorial Hall for a ceremony, continuing on until Water St. and ending at the Post Office.
BBQ at 11:00AM hosted by Sons of the American Legion along with the Auxiliary at the Legion Hall

Rockland
May 27: 10:45AM, Ceremony at Chapman Park, Main Street. 1:00 PM, The American Legion Post 1 hosts their Memorial Day BBQ at 335 Limerock Street.

Sabattus
May 27: Parade starts at 11:00AM at the American Legion and goes down Main Street, left on Greene Street, right on Elm street, left on Hemlock Street, left on Green Street, stopping at the memorial for a ceremony and then right on Main Street and back to the American Legion.

Sidney
May 27: Parade and Ceremony at 10:00 AM, assembles at the Sidney Transfer Station Drive, off Middle Road

Skowhegan
May 27: Parade starting at 10:00AM, the route proceeds south on Madison Avenue, travels downtown, and turns onto Water Street before ending at Skowhegan Veterans Park beside the municipal building.
