The Green Street United Methodist Church in Augusta could become a new 40-bed homeless shelter. Funds are currently being raised for what would become the Green Street United Community Living Center.
An open house and fundraiser is scheduled for Nov. 28 from 4-7 pm, so the organizers can share information about the proposed plan to the community.
