The Boston Bruins will be honoring the life & legacy of Travis Roy this season. The players will be wearing a commemorative TR24 emblem on their helmets.

Travis from Yarmouth, was injured in his first shift as a college hockey player for Boston University in 1995 and was paralyzed from the neck down.

The Boston Bruins season begins tomorrow night, Jan. 14 against the NJ Devils.
NYA will also be honoring the life and legacy of Travis Roy by Re-naming the Maine Prep Cup Hockey Tournament the “Travis Roy Cup”. The NYA players will also be wearing “TR 00” helmet emblems this season. @NYAPanthers
