Ricky Hamlin, 21, of Clinton, crashed his vehicle into a utility pole this morning, April 21, on Main Street in Fairfield.
Fairfield Police say Hamlin told them he looked down at his phone, then crashed his truck.
Hamlin has been charged with operating under the influence.
