An earthquake this morning shook parts of the Northeast, with even some residents in Maine saying they felt it.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 4.8 magnitude quake is the biggest, with an epicenter in New Jersey, since 1783. Lebanon, New Jersey, was the epicenter, which is about 45 miles west of New York City and 50 miles north of Philadelphia.

There were no initial reports of damage.
