A 43-year old Maine woman was injured last Friday, March 31, after being attacked by a cow. She was preparing for a jog on the Whistle Stop Trail in Farmington when a cow charged her and lifted her off the ground with its horns.

She received stitches for a small laceration. Charges are possible against the owner of the cow.
