The Federal Trade Commission and 48 state attorneys general, including Maine, launched today (Dec. 9) twin lawsuits against Facebook for alleged antitrust violations.
The suits claim Facebook illegally crushed competition and of buying up rising rivals to retain its dominance over social media.
