Saying, “I have the utmost confidence in the vaccine. It is safe. It is effective. And it will save lives.” Governor Janet Mills today, Jan. 15, received the COVID-19 vaccine.
The governor’s office says Mills received the vaccination because she is included in Phase 1A, as a personal critical to Maine’s COVID-19 response.
