Governor Janet Mills will not be meeting with First Lady Jill Biden during her upcoming visit to Maine. The governor tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, April 2, after experiencing a scratchy throat this morning. She will isolate for a minimum of five days.

Gov. Mills said,

Other than a scratchy throat, I feel fine. I will work remotely over the next few days and I look forward to getting back to the office later this week.

Gov. Mills previously tested positive for COVID-19 in April 2022. She isolated and recovered within a matter of days.
