Scarborough dispatcher Amanda Marden, who is certified and licensed emergency medical dispatcher, this week received a 911 call from a family in Old Orchard Beach.
It turns out a woman was in active labor. Marden ended up helping the family deliver a healthy baby boy while waiting for the first responders to arrive.
As you can imagine, not every 911 call ends with a happy story, but this one did. Scarborough dispatcher Amanda Marden helped a family deliver a healthy baby boy earlier this week. https://t.co/RGLusX7zRg
