Positive coronavirus tests are being reported at Laura E. Richards School and Gardiner Regional Middle School.
In a post from MSAD 11 superintendent Patricia Hopkins, because of the positive results, various staff members and students must quarantine.
There is a possibility that other staff or students came in contact with these individuals and therefore may be exposed to the virus. We are informing you out of an abundance of caution. Laura E. Richards and Gardiner Regional Middle School students should monitor for signs and symptoms. Call a health care provider if symptoms start. Stay home if you are sick.
Due to our need to complete contact tracing and to more thoroughly clean these buildings, the Laura E. Richards School and Gardiner Regional Middle School will be closed to students on Monday, November 2.
