Sen. Bill Diamond of Windham has submitted new legislation that would allow the state to reject applications for certain vanity license places.
Plate requests would be rejected that are vulgar, contain hate speech or that may include language referring to drugs.
According to WMTW, the bill will be considered after the new legislature is sworn in on Dec. 2.
