The Office of Marijuana Policy today (Aug. 14) announced that Maine recreational marijuana sales will begin before the end of the year.
Retail sales had been indefinitely postponed because of COVID-19.
First licenses to businesses can be issued on Sept. 8 and retail sales of adult use marijuana to customers 21 and older can begin on Oct. 9.
