Independent Senator from Maine, Angus King, is asking all the major streaming services to do their part to try and keep people home during the pandemic and offer their services for free during the holidays.
In a letter, addressed to leaders of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, Apple TV+, Hulu, and HBO Max, King cites the need for compliance of stay-at-home orders and talks how the companies can do their part to help.

Unfortunately, some Americans are likely to choose to ignore publichealth advice and carry on their typical holiday traditions instead of remaining safely at home.
