Saco police say Nicholas Mitchell, 38, is the suspect of tampering with pizza dough at the Saco Hannaford. He is a former associate of It’ll Be Pizza Company, who manufactures products for Portland Pie Company.
According to WGME, the investigation now has expanded to look at other tampering cases in Sanford and Dover, New Hampshire. Meanwhile, Shaw’s is joining Hannaford in recalling the fresh pizza dough because of concerns about tampering.
