Two juveniles are in custody after authorities were called to Twin City Plaza in Brewer, Sunday night, May 28.
According to the Brewer Police Department, witnesses reported hearing what sounded like a gunshot and a strong chemical smell. The plaza was evacuated.
The explosion was caused by a chemical device intentionally placed there and similar devices had been set off at the Brewer High School softball field.
