According to the Lincoln Police Department, a head-on crash July 6 in Lincoln led to the discovery of loaded guns, ski masks, zip ties, drugs and more.

An officer spotted a loaded shotgun inside one of the truck’s involved in the crash. One of the people in that truck, Christopher Mitchell, was out on bail and he was not supposed to have any firearms.

The search of the truck revealed two loaded handguns, ammunition, a large knife, black ski masks, zip ties, brass knuckles, and a drug kit with glass pipes and tourniquet.

Arrested were Christopher Mitchell, charged with Violating Conditions of Release and Matthew Vandine, charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person and Possession of Schedule W drugs.
