37-year-old Derek Campbell of Wilton has been arrested criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon among other charges. He is accused of breaking into a woman’s home at the Wilton Mobile Home Park off Main Street, assaulting her, and threatening to kill her.
The woman required 20 stitches in the forehead. The incident occurred Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Police say a Maine man kicked the door in to a woman’s home, punched her, and later hit her in the head with a pellet gun, causing her to need 20 stitches to close a wound on her forehead.
