The Wounded Veterans Recreation Act has passed the U.S. House of Representatives after previously passing the U.S. Senate. Maine Sen. Susan Collins was among those that proposed the law.
Admission to national parks will also be free for Gold Star families, thanks to a recently accepted proposal from Maine’s Rep. Jared Golden and Sen. Angus King.
